Originally from Haverhill, Massachusetts, Dr. Michelle Abate received her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She continued her education, obtaining her doctorate from the University of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine. After falling in love with the Farmington area, Dr. Abate was fortunate enough to pursue her post-doctoral training in an intensive General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital. The residency program provided training in surgical, endodontic, and complex restorative dentistry, as well as management of medically compromised patients. While at Hartford Hospital, Dr. Abate became actively engaged with various dental societies. Currently, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Hartford Dental Society.
Dr. Abate’s professional interests include cosmetic, preventative, and family dentistry. She values her patients’ trust and is dedicated to delivering the highest quality care with compassion and a personal touch!
When not with her patients, Dr. Abate loves spending time with family, snuggling up with a good book, and all things food. She especially enjoys trying a new recipe, visiting a favorite restaurant, or enjoying some Naples pizza while watching an episode of The Great British Baking Show!
